Bye Feb & Hello March

Bye Feb & Hello March

Hang on, wasn’t it January like yesterday, have we blinked and missed February?! It has flown right on by. With snow on the ground again, you wouldn’t think Spring is in sight, but supposedly it is! I’m yet to believe.

It's been an exciting month at And so to Wed. Lot's of planning for the future, and we've been lucky enough to feature some amazing work from talented people and suppliers in the wedding community. Here’s what we’ve loved this month...

Personalised napkins and garters from Extra Special Touch

A little detail goes a long way and how cute is it to personalise your wedding napkins with a little message or your initials! Take a look at Extra Special Touch over at the shop.

Engagement Shoots

We’ve been so lucky to feature two love shoots this month on the blog. The first from the very talented Stewart Barker who shared his insight into the advantages of having an engagement or love shoot. If you missed it, here it is.

We were also whisked away up to Ilkley for a dramatic anniversary shoot with the extremely creative Caitlin + Jones. A chilly and gorgeous couple embraced the cold and showed us how much it was totally worth it.

Our new Indie Bride Journal

We are so excited to launch this new regular feature on the blog. Martha and Alistair are our first couple to take us on their wedding journey with them. They shared their super sweet engagement story and the swoon-worthy bespoke ring Alistair had made especially.

Being in Love

Valentines Day had us all loved up and cosy with love. The date ideas were fab and our mission for the rest of the year is to tick them all off. The list is printed and left somewhere obvious for the other half to see. Worth a try.

The home and baby shoot for And so to Shop

We had the most amazing and chaotic day hosting a shoot for the home and baby ware for And so to Shop. There was cuteness overload as mini models showed off the wonderful products from some of our fabulous suppliers. From what started off as an organised day soon unfolded into a sporadic fun shoot with lots of cake smashing, confetti and belly laughing. Take a look at some of the photos from Amanda at Cream Photography.

The disco-themed shoot captured by Tiree Dawson took us back to retro days and showed us the potential for your wedding disco not to mention the striking eye makeup from Aimee Chorley.

Real Weddings

We were privileged to share with you two beautiful wedding days. Each rocking their own style in different ways and reiterating why we love a wedding! Every one tells a unique story.

A new social media buzz

The buzz around a new social media platform called Vero has got us all very excited. We’re  signed up, give us a follow and bear with us as we get to grips with it!

Let's see what March brings!
